In 2012, Doug Krause of Hinckley, Ohio and Gwendolyn and Frank Miller of Murrysville donated police K-9 officer Farkle to theMurrysville City Police Department in memory of the Miller's son, city Police Office Frank Miller, Jr. who was shot and died in the line of duty.
